We're Goin' To The Zoo with Kindermusik with Kathy, Teacher and Friends!
It is our end of the semester Music Party with Kindermusik with Kathy and Teachers....at the SB ZOO! Last semester we ended with songs, dances and live musicians singing on the Amtrack! What a day! Now we will continue the Musical Family Fun singing on the "Allee Allee O" train at the Zoo, Friday, July 2 at 3:30pm. We will meet at the stage to gather for Zoo Train songs from this semester, singing along with the guitar and instruments. We will visit 3 animals that we will sing our songs to: Monkey See-Monkey Do, Penguins Dash, See How the Elephant, and One Elephant.....and then climb on board the "Allee Allee O" for a ride and songs your child will not forget!
ALL are invited, so tell your friends!
Friday, July 2. Meet at 3:30 at the Zoo stage up on the hill. Please be on time, the zoo closes at 5pm. Cost is only $20 for one parent and child. Additional parent or child is $8. This includes an hour of FUN! and the Allee Allee O Train ride! Pay in advance in class or pay that day. ALL AGES INVITED! This does not include your entrance into the zoo. The SB Zoo closes at 5pm, so come early to enjoy more time there!

Family Drumming Class
Sunday, May 5th & June 8th - 5:00pm
Cost: $20 per family
Budhi Harlow and Lisa Beck were so well received when they did our Live! Music concert earlier in the year that we've decided to integrate their instruction into our program on a monthly basis. Budhi and Lisa will facilitate drumming, song, and movement for the whole family. Using djembes, tone boxes, shakers and bells, they will teach basic rhythms and lead our children on a musical journey through West Africa and beyond. Budhi Harlow is the founder of Wula Forest School of Percussion. Budhi and Lisa are both members of the dance/drum ensemble Panzumo. Please purchase tickets in advance, this class is limited to 10 families.
Parent-Child Yoga Class with Siddhi

We are excited to bring Siddhi Ellinghoven, renowned Kundalini Yoga instructor, to Kindermusik with Kathy for an afternoon of Yoga, music, dancing, chanting, breathing, stretching, and spirit-reviving fun. Siddhi has a confident and nurturing style. Her grounding presence, sense of humor and good nature combined with her expertise creates a transforming experience for all her students. Her credentials are too numerous to mention here, however, you may know Siddhi from SB's Yoga Soup, Siddhi's Yoga Ranch in Carpinteria, or from the outreach work that she and partner Stefan Hermann are involved in. She is a consummate teacher, committed to each and every one of her students. Siddhi has three children and one grandchild. We know you'll be happy you came.
